Article Marketing Tips

June 17th, 2010

Article Marketing is the big dog when it come to internet marketing. Writing articles and getting them listed in all the major article directories, is not only a way to publish your article, but yourself. These efforts allow you to increase your page rank, as people will hopefully follow up and head to your website, but consequently your website will be SEO, or Search Engine Optimized. There are many many tips, I can share with you, however I have given my best little tricks, that will allow you to make some really nice profits:

* In Article Marketing, although the emphasis is on quantity floating around on the net, I can not stress enough just how important quality is. The better constructed your article is, the more likely people are going to be bothered to read it in its entirety.

* Make your article title the most compelling one. Because it will create the first impression on your readers. If they like it only then they will move ahead to be indulged in your content.

* Another most important trick to draw attention of larger readers is to maintain a wide variety while writing articles on a niche topic. Deliberate different views from where you can verge on your target niche topics but don’t diverge from the main focus of the service or product your e-commerce website is proposing.

* Ensure that your article aren’t too long. 350-500 words is a good length. Over doing the length can bore readers, especially if it becomes long winded, and not the the point. Be informative, and direct. I find this approach has a much better effectiveness.

* Keyword research is vital. When people search for information regarding your niche, are they going to find you?? Properly researching keywords before writing your articles is of great importance. In saying this do not over populate your article with keywords, as the search engines may see it as spammy. However not enough, may not SEO your article very well. My tip is to use the keywords, but write as naturally as you can.

* Proof reading all your articles is very important. Have someone do this for you, as you may find they could find things you normally wouldn’t resulting in a better flowing, well written article.

* Ensure you use the resource box’s to back ink to your site or opt-in pages, as this is what will boost your overall rankings, and have you found in the search engines. I always back link to my original article, which is my blog.

* Assemble all your written articles on auto-responders. For that you need to get a Master Auto-responder and list all your articles. It will consequently automate your brilliance.

* If possible try to give space to all your written articles on your website. This helps in building trust and credibility. Gradually it will increase the traffic rate as all keyword dense articles would be in one place.

Follow some if not all this advice and implement now, but most of all enjoy the process of writing your articles, and the success that comes with it all.

Next we need to go over as much Online Marketing info as we can, plus get the Lead System that’s going to bring in the leads and traffic.

SEO Benefits – The Advantages of Proper Search Engine Optimization

June 17th, 2010

SEO or search engine optimization is a very important part of any marketing strategy. This is because it offers so many different benefits to the marketer. Many website owners are now using SEO to boost their sites high up in the search engines and create a credible online presence for themselves.

Understanding the benefits of search engine optimization is important to your success. Once you understand how important SEO is to your marketing efforts, you will begin at once to implement this powerful strategy and your websites will also begin to increase in ranking. So, what are the benefits of search engine optimization and how can you ensure you are using it properly?

The biggest benefit of SEO is that the major search engines such as Google and Yahoo will find your websites and rank them high up in their index. This will result in loads of free and targeted traffic which will increase sales and profit. A site that has effectively implemented search engine optimization in the beginning will not take much work to maintain ranking afterwards.

This marketing strategy is typically cost effective and in most cases free to implement. It not only helps to drive targeted traffic to your websites, but it also helps you to brand yourself and your business. This is because when you are on the first couple pages of search engines such as Google, people see your website first when they are searching for related keyword terms. The more they see your website, the more credibility it builds for your business.

It is important that you understand how to effectively use SEO marketing. If you work it in the wrong way, it could have a very negative effect on your website and ranking. For instance, it is advised that you stay away from activities such as reciprocal linking with non-relevant websites and link farms. Your back links should come from authoritative websites and you should link to these naturally and manually rather than use automated tools.

You should go over your websites and content to make sure it is search engine friendly. Check to ensure that all pages of your websites are clear of broken links, flashy images, automatic redirects and pages that consist primarily of images. Your websites should be filled with informative, unique content.

Your SEO efforts should consist of optimizing your website and content, reviewing it, revising it, submitting it and starting over again. You should be in the constant motion of building quality back links to your websites and providing informative content that your readers will find useful. Once a month you should take some time out to review your competitors’ rankings and compare them to your own. This will help you stay on track and do what’s necessary to keep yourself above them.

SEO optimization is an ongoing process. If you work hard in the beginning, most of your work afterwards will be small simple steps to keep your rankings high. Always follow white hat methods and most importantly, stay consistent and focused. This will ensure high rankings in the major search engines and plenty of daily targeted traffic.

Choosing the Right Affiliate Marketing Niche

June 17th, 2010

An affiliate marketing niche is the field of specialty that you intend to market product, services or information in. Examples of some specific niches are dog grooming, kitchen furniture and exotic recipes among others. Choosing a niche is an important aspect of learning how to make money online because choosing the right niche helps influence your probability and rate of success in the field of internet marketing. Choosing the wrong niche on the other hand might lead to you quickly getting disenchanted with everything affiliate marketing stands for and feeling that you will never be one of the successful people that make enough money online to quit their day jobs.

This said how exactly one can go about choosing a successful niche. A lot has been said about this on the Internet. Most people recommend choosing a niche you find exciting, something you are passionate or knowledgeable about etc. The reason why this is often suggested is because if you choose a niche you have no excitement about, the chances are that you are bound to get bored very quickly. Making money online takes a period of patience first before success shows up at your doorstep and if you are working on something you hardly find interesting, you are bound to get so bored you just give up.

If you choose something you do not know anything about, people will catch on to your lack of knowledge and you will not succeed in winning any followers over. If you are passionate about something and you don’t know much about it, it is usually advised that you fully immerse yourself in order to acquire that knowledge.

Pick about three or four things you are passionate and knowledgeable about first, when you are done with this process the next thing is to research your niche to make sure that you will get enough traffic or visitors on the web for that niche. A niche which is too popular might be very competitive ( e.g. online dating) so you tend to find out that ranking favorably in such a niche is a very difficult task, a niche which is too obscure (e.g. collecting Easter eggs) might not have as many enthusiasts to make it a viable source of income.

So how exactly do you determine how popular a niche is or is not? Well, there are a number of ways people use to sort out this particular problem. One of such ways uses search engines to query niche keywords and see how many results and sites that pops out.

For example you can use the online dating keyword as an example, enter it into Google and see how many results are listed. Do the same for collecting Easter eggs; this should give you a comparison of what is relatively too competitive and what is not competitive enough. Even though you have a list of four niches you think you can handle, do not assume that you will not get the whole process of getting the right niche on your first try, you might have to play around with a longer list of niches and test them for popularity before you finally have what you want.

For those of the marketers who know their way around the numerous tools and technologies for building websites, building a site for their affiliate marketing is a very simple task.

For those tech-savvy marketers who can build their own website, can do so without having to spend any money on it, using software like XSitePro2 or Dreamweaver. However, the other affiliate marketers have the option of either buying readymade website templates, or hiring a designer to build their website for them. A third option lies in availing e-commerce tutoring packages that come with a detailed set of guidelines on how to build a website.

The first step in building an affiliate marketing website is the planning. The marketer has to research and determine the needs of the potential buyers, and choose to promote the products that are in the greatest demand. He has to research the products that he will be promoting, and ensure that the products he chooses to promote on his website have quality. The content on the site of the affiliate marketer must be interesting and accurate, in order to attract better traffic, as well as get a better search engine optimization rating. The website must look professional and user friendly, with a domain name that is suitable and attractive. The key to promoting the products successfully lies in passivity. Coming on too strong about the products will drive away the potential buyers. A few lines about how you found the product useful, along with the link to the merchants’ website is all it takes to do the job.

An affiliate marketing website can make money through Pay-Per-Click, where the marketer is paid for every click on the keyword or the banner advertisement. Alternately, Pay-Per-Lead pays affiliate marketers when their advertised keyword or banner generates a lead for the merchants. The Pay-Per-Sale option compensates the marketer every time a sale is made through his referral. By using a combination of these three money options, an affiliate marketer can make a lot of profit through his website on inexpensive products.

Marketing through an affiliate marketing website is one of the most powerful, best money making opportunity in the business world. Operating websites from the comfort of their homes, affiliate marketers can make a huge profit on the promotion of the products.
